Othello: The Remix

Obsidian Theater is excited to present the international hit, Othello: The Remix which has impressed critics and excited crowds around the world. The show was originally a collaboration between the hip-hop artists The Q Brothers and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. It reimagines Othello as a rising hip-hop star and Iago as a jealous member of his entourage. Obsidian Theater is excited to show our audience who may be unfamiliar with either Shakespeare or hip-hop these dynamic art forms.
