A funny sendup of small-town morals, the long-running off-Broadway comedy Greater Tuna takes place in the fictional city of Tuna, the "third-smallest" town in Texas -- the kind of place where the Lions Club is considered too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. You'll meet the town's eccentric citizens, including the Bumillers, puppy-poisoning Aunt Pearl, the longwinded Reverend Spikes, good ol' Vera Carp and many more. Created more than 30 years ago as a party skit based on a political cartoon, Greater Tuna's popularity has endured, spawning countless tours, several sequels and even an HBO special. Now you can see it in a production from The Grand at Galveston Island. And as a special treat, each performance will be followed by a Q&A with director Jaston Williams that's bound to be as entertaining as the show itself.
