Finding evidence of another lover in your partner's apartment is always a heated moment, and Jackie doesn't take the situation lightly when he gets out of jail and discovers a strange hat in his childhood sweetheart's bedroom. But that's not his only problem in The Motherf**ker With the Hat, which was nominated for the 2011 Tony Award for Best Play and is presented at Obsidian Theater in Houston. Jackie was in jail for dealing drugs, and now he's trying to stay clean even though his lady's still addicted to cocaine. Add a handgun into the mix, and you've got a recipe for a tense final act.
